Refund & Cancellation Policy
Updated October 15, 2026
This policy describes ordinary refund and return terms. It does not waive remedies for negligent care, defective or misdescribed goods, billing errors, undelivered services, deceptive practices or other rights protected by law. A specific offer or accepted agreement may provide greater rights, which we will honor.
Completed clinical services and follow-up
We ordinarily do not refund a properly delivered clinical service solely because an individual aesthetic result differs from expectations; results cannot be guaranteed. We review concerns individually. A refund exclusion is not a release of professional negligence or other liability.
You may request a correction assessment: ordinarily within 14 days for neuromodulators and peels, 21 days for filler, or 30 days for laser treatment. A clinician determines whether additional treatment is safe and appropriate and explains any charge before you agree. Additional treatment and a particular result are not guaranteed. These administrative windows do not bar a medical concern, legal claim or required remedy. Do not delay care to meet a follow-up window; call 911 for an emergency.
Unused prepaid services and packages
Ordinary package purchases are not refundable for a simple change of mind unless the purchase terms provide otherwise. Unused sessions do not expire under our standard package policy and may be applied to another suitable service of equal value, with any additional price agreed in advance. An immediate-family transfer may be considered with advance approval and the recipient's own assessment and consent. No transfer guarantees clinical eligibility.
If we determine a prepaid service is medically inappropriate before it is performed, or cannot provide it as agreed, we offer an appropriate alternative accepted by the client or refund the unused amount paid for that service, subject to any stronger legal right. Refund calculations must be explained and must not impose a new retroactive price or penalty. Promotional terms expressly allowing a prorated refund are honored.
Memberships, credits and gift cards
Ordinary membership dues are not prorated for a voluntary mid-cycle cancellation unless the accepted agreement or law requires otherwise; paid benefits ordinarily continue through the paid period. Actual minimum terms, cancellation notice and any lawful early-termination fee must have been disclosed and accepted at enrollment. See the Membership Terms & Conditions.
Do not assume all unused value is forfeited: paid service credit, purchased gift-card value and promotional bonus benefits can have different legal treatment. We identify and account for the type of value and honor the governing agreement and applicable law. We do not apply a blanket 50% reduction to unused paid value if the practice closes. Refunds, continued redemption or other remedies on closure, inability to provide services or termination are determined under the agreement and applicable law. Protected gift-card funds do not lose their legal protections because a membership ends.
Complimentary services have no separate cash value unless a stated offer or law provides otherwise. The advertised sequence and clinical timing of included services govern; a purported free benefit cannot be used to deny the purchased service or an otherwise required remedy.
Product returns
Unopened, unused products in intact original packaging may be returned within 14 days of purchase with proof of purchase for a refund to the original payment method or store credit, at your choice. Contact us for return instructions before shipping.
Opened products are ordinarily excluded from change-of-mind returns. Report a suspected reaction promptly; reporting within 48 hours helps assessment but is not a waiver deadline. Photos may assist but are not an absolute condition of review. We may offer an exchange or credit for a reaction, and any legally required remedy remains available. Do not dismiss significant burning, swelling or worsening symptoms as normal adjustment; seek clinical advice and emergency care when appropriate.
For damaged, defective, expired, incorrect or missing products, contact us promptly, ideally within seven days of delivery, with the order number and description. Keep packaging or photos if reasonably possible. We investigate and provide the remedy required by the sale and law; we will not substitute store credit when a monetary refund is required. The reporting target does not shorten statutory or warranty rights.
Items disclosed as final sale, promotional samples, accessed digital content and gift cards are ordinarily excluded from voluntary returns, subject to applicable legal rights, gift-card redemption rules and defects or misdescription. A final-sale label does not erase those rights.
Appointments
The standard policy requires a $40 deposit, applied to a completed appointment, and at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellation ordinarily costs 50% of the scheduled service's full retail price before discounts or credits. A no-show costs that separate 50% fee plus forfeiture of the $40 deposit. Staff review and process fees manually. The Appointment & Booking Policy defines no-shows and notice methods. Disclosed written membership and promotion exceptions apply; fees remain subject to the agreed terms and applicable law.
Requests and payment disputes
Contact (973) 313-5601 or contact@aevua.com with your transaction details and concern. Avoid sending full card numbers or medical details by ordinary email; ask for a suitable channel. Approved ordinary refunds are typically processed within 10–14 business days, or sooner when law requires; bank posting may take additional time. We explain the amount and method.
You may dispute a charge with your card issuer or payment provider for grounds allowed by law and your account agreement, including billing errors or goods or services not supplied as agreed. A good-faith dispute is not automatically fraud. Contacting us may help but is not required before contacting your issuer and does not extend its deadlines or waive other remedies.
